Campfire Stories

Flow of Yoga

Time in nature. Honest food. Immersive workshops. Inspiring talks. Memories made by the campfire.

Campfire Stories is an annual gathering set in the Dutch countryside that welcomes people to share in a weekend full of inspiration, ideas, nature, craft and outdoor fun. The weekend is centred around immersive workshops, inspiring talks, honest food cooked over fire and time spent in nature, all reminding us to reconnect with ourselves, one another and the beautiful world around us. Come join in the fun for our seventh and last edition, from Friday September 8th – Sunday September 10th 2023. The pace of life today moves so fast that we often have little time to appreciate the simple things and take stock of what truly makes us happy and fulfilled. Campfire Stories is an antidote to our modern lives. It’s a weekend away from the hustle and bustle and daily stresses that welcomes us into nature, where our minds can quieten and bodies can recalibrate. Let’s play. Let’s ignite our curiosities, find fresh perspectives, learn new skills, work with our hands, press pause, feel re-energised, take on new challenges, have meaningful conversations and memorable experiences. The weekend will leave you feeling energised, inspired and better connected to nature, yourself and others thanks to our exciting mix of storytellers, changemakers, creative doers and thinkers who will share their stories and skills with you. Workshops and talks run throughout the weekend, with multiple running at a time. Remember, the weekend is your own – you decide your schedule, whether that’s a lazy morning exploring the food forest of Roggebotstaete followed by a coffee by the fire, or starting the day with a yoga session or taking part in our ice bath workshop. All meals are taken care of and included in the ticket price, so expect to feel nourished in your mind and body. We designed the weekend as an ode to the simple life, with every aspect of the event considered to deliver an incredible experience and lessen our environmental impact. To us, details matter – from the site location and catering to line-up and hosting style, from the nutritious food made with the best local ingredients to the biodynamic wines, from the smell of fresh herbs in the kitchen to our “help crew” on the campsite to assist with setting up tents.
